BWAC offer its members the finest selection of freshwater angling in the region, catering for all aspects of the sport. Coarse angling is our main interest     

We pride ourselves in not differentiating our membership by what they choose to fish for. All members pay the same fees whether they choose to fish for coarse fish or game. As a result we offer the best value for money game fishing in the region.

We are an active club with monthly meetings, regular matches and a flourishing junior section. Trips to away venues are held and we have exchange tickets with other clubs. Every year we organize a trip to Ireland to allow members to "bag up." Our members enjoy a choice of twenty-seven different venues!

We are members of the Anglers Conservation Association, The Northumberland Wild Life Trust, The National Federation of Anglers, The River Tyne Fisheries' Improvement Association, The Ferryham Association and the Tyne Anglers' Alliance.
